Time, television set for football from Syracuse to Notre Dame

Syracuse, NY – The road game for the Syracuse football team against Notre Dame to conclude the regular season will begin at 2:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on NBC.

The Orange’s first five games of the season were scheduled for early slots at noon or 12:30 p.m. The Notre Dame game is the second game announced for a later start.

In addition to the Notre Dame kick-off time, the ACC announced that the other scheduled late kick-off, Friday night’s Syracuse game against Louisville on November 20, has been moved to 7 p.m. .

Notre Dame home football games are traditionally broadcast on NBC. All home games except one Fighting Irish will air on the channel this year.

NBC’s appearance means Syracuse fans should be able to enjoy the voice of former SU Mike Tirico, who plays the Notre Dame football game on NBC. This season, he is joined by former NFL coach Tony Dungy (color commentary) and Kathryn Tappen (reporter).

Notre Dame shows include a halftime show starring Jac Collinsworth, the son of broadcaster Cris Collinsworth, and, at times, former Boston College quarterback Doug Flutie.

The Fighting Irish, who are included in the ACC rankings this season due to the coronavirus pandemic, have won their first two games and are currently ranked No.5 in the country.
